<strong style="font-size: 14px;">Bogotá, abril 7 de 2016</strong><span style="font-size: 14px;"> – La Agencia Nacional de Minería realizó 1.056 visitas de Fiscalización durante el primer trimestre de este año. Lo anterior lo dio a conocer en medio del denominado “Mes de la Fiscalización”, en el que la ANM ha dispuesto de todos sus medios y equipos, para hablarle al país sobre la importancia de la Fiscalización Minera.</span>

<p>
<span style="font-size:14px;">Una visita de Fiscalización Integral tiene por objeto verificar en campo, el cumplimiento de las obligaciones de los titulares mineros en aspectos: Técnicos, Ambientales, Sociales y de Seguridad Minera.</span>
</p>
<p>
<span style="font-size:14px;">Dichas visitas se realizan a través de los Puntos de Atención Regional PAR de la ANM y de acuerdo a esta distribución presentaron los siguientes resultados:</span>

<span style="font-size:14px;">“A través de la Fiscalización, los titulares mineros tienen la oportunidad de someterse a políticas de mejoramiento y al acompañamiento de la autoridad minera, pueden fortalecerse en el tema de la formalidad ante el Estado y la sociedad, y sin duda hacer una minería bien hecha, que aporte al desarrollo del país y que sea amigable con las comunidades y con el medio ambiente” explicó la Presidenta de la Agencia Nacional de Minería, Silvana Habib Daza.</span>
</p>
<p>
<span style="font-size:14px;">Estas visitas se están priorizando entre los títulos de los Proyectos de Interés Nacional PIN, los que se encuentran en etapa de explotación, aquellos no visitados en el último trimestre de 2015, los que presentan aspectos de seguridad minera críticos y aquellos títulos que representen situaciones complejas para el área circunvecina.</span>
</p>
<p>
<span style="font-size:14px;">Por minerales este total de visitas se divide en 627 a títulos de materiales para construcción, 171 a carbón, 114 calizas, 69 metales preciosos y 57 minerales industriales.</span>
</p>
<p>
<span style="font-size:14px;">A su vez la ANM publicó la lista de visitas a realizarse en el segundo trimestre del año. En total serán 2.208, distribuidas en todas las regiones del país. Este número incluye 30 visitas a proyectos PIN y 212 de Seguridad y Salvamento Minero.</span>
